About Sloan!
Sloan Greenspan earned her undergraduate degree in business from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in tax from George Mason University. She began her career as a CPA in the tax departments of Deloitte in Washington, D.C., and Ernst & Young in New York City. Rising to the position of senior manager, Sloan worked with top international companies before choosing to focus on raising her children full-time.
Sloan remains actively engaged in her community, holding multiple leadership roles within the Scarsdale PTA and participating in various local initiatives, including community service through our Church. She is passionate about racquet sports, interior design, and supporting her children’s endeavors. Her dedication to family and community reflects her commitment to creating meaningful connections both at home and beyond.
Roles in OCDareToBe!
Director
Sloan is a member of the OCDareToBe Board of Directors. Through this position, she helps to govern the organization, keep track of its finances, and organize OCDareToBe employees and volunteers.
Familial Relations Coordinator
Sloan has lived experience parenting a child with OCD, making her perfect for this position. She helps families understand how to best support their child, deal with schools, and more related to OCD. Additionally, helps mend and mediate families in difficult situations regarding OCD.
Lived Experience of Raising a Child with OCD
After navigating the difficulties of raising a daughter with OCD, Sloan is an educator and advocate for gaurdians navigating raising a child with OCD. Sloan teaches gaurdians about how them and their children deserve to be treated, as well as how to advocate for themselves and their child in different settings such as schools.
